What Type of
Program Is She In?
Fire is currently
being ridden about 4 times a week. Three of those rides
are flat work and the forth is over fences. Her owner puts
these rides on her. Fire has been back in work since the
end of April. She arrived in NY in January. Prior to
that, she was in Michigan without much of a job for about 18
months as her owner changed jobs and relocated.
What Else Can
You Tell Me About Fire?
In addition to competing
with her adult owner, Fire was
campaigned by a 14-year old in the Child/Adult Jumpers (3'-6") in the Midwest on the local circuit in 2005. This mare has
not had any health or lameness
issues. Fire is fine for the farrier and she has good ground manners.
This mare has been with her current owner since she
was a yearling. In addition to her jumper education,
Fire received approximately one
year of professional dressage training (1 ride a week) with
Stephanie Chandler, a dressage rider who has competed at the
GP level. Fire normally goes in a Dr. Bristol or a KK
loose ring.
